A "cookie" is a tiny file a website stores in your browser to remember things. Some sites stuff in dozens of them to track you across the internet. We don't. This notice explains the small set we use and how to control them. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.
The cookies & storage we use
- Essential — a couple of small items that keep the site working and remember basic preferences (like the moves you've "saved," which are stored in your browser's local storage on your device, not sent to us). These are always on; the site can't work without them.
- Analytics — privacy-respecting analytics that count page visits and tell us which moves are useful. These are anonymous and aggregated; they don't identify you and aren't used for advertising.
- Email platform (Klaviyo) — if you subscribe, our email provider Klaviyo may set a cookie to recognize you on the site (for example, so you're not shown the same signup twice). See Klaviyo's privacy policy.
What we DON'T do
- We don't use advertising or retargeting cookies.
- We don't sell the information cookies collect.
- We don't follow you around other websites.
How to control cookies
You're always in charge:
- Every major browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking analytics cookies won't break the site.
- You can turn on "Do Not Track" or a privacy extension; we don't run cross-site ad trackers either way.
- To stop our emails, just use the one-click unsubscribe at the bottom of any email.
Changes
If we add or remove cookies, we'll update this notice and the "Last updated" date above.
